Android as a USB *host*

Submitted by jeff on Tue, 05/10/2011 - 10:08

This just in from CDM:

Android just got a whole lot more interesting for hardware development. We can already run music apps and tools like Processing and (via libpd) Pure Data patches on Android. Now, you should soon be able to plug in joysticks, custom hardware, sensors, and other devices and make Android a go-anywhere live music and visual platform.

Hooking up Sugar Byte's Eloquence to Midi, etc

Submitted by jeff on Thu, 08/27/2009 - 15:17

I acquired Eloquence a little while ago but have been so busy I only got around to seriously fiddling with it a couple of days ago. I fired it up in Ableton, created another MIDI track and plopped Massive into it, and then was immediately stumped on how to get them hooked up. It's quite possible, just very subtle. This post is for others googling around looking for a straight-forward explanation.
